To our Friends, Family & Customers

These are truly unique times and experiences we are all going through together.  The coronavirus is having an impact on everyone from our families, to the businesses we use and to our neighbors we only know by an occasional wave on the street. As the situation continues to affect our world, we wanted to reach out and update you on how we’re supporting our employees, our community and you—our customers and partners.

Above all else, our thoughts are with those affected by the virus. We wish them a speedy recovery, and we remain inspired by the people in our communities who are choosing to face these unknown times with an emboldened positivity while inspiring others to stay positive, as well as vigilant, with personal healthcare and a general respect and empathy for so many of our brothers and sisters all around the globe who are currently fighting the coronavirus in one way or another.

To our first responders and healthcare advocates on the front lines caring for people around the world, thank you for doing what you do every time there’s an infringement on our way of life.

Supporting Our Employees and Customers

First and foremost, we are asking that our employees stay home from work if they feel sick.

It is imperative that we take care of our people—including employees, vendors and extended staff—and the communities they work in. We’ve taken steps to reduce the need for people to come into our office and temporarily stopped taking in “on-site repairs” at our office. While the number of people who choose to drop appliances off to be repaired at our location is only a small portion of the many services we offer we feel it’s an important and necessary step for the foreseeable future to ensure the safety of our office employees.

We are following the guidance of global health experts at the World Health Organization (WHO) and U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We are reminding our employees about frequent hand washing, and we are regularly cleaning and disinfecting our facilities and all equipment.

Regarding the cardboard boxes that some appliances come in, know that the WHO and CDC have stated that the likelihood of catching the COVID-19 virus by touching cardboard or other shipping containers is low. To go even further, during these times our installers will be happy to remove all packaging debris from appliances they have delivered.

Ensuring our Customers and Partners

We know that customers all over the greater Richmond Virginia area rely on Pro Line Appliance and our services so we want you to know, without a doubt, that we’re committed to keeping our services up and running as smoothly and as safe as possible during these times. A limited number of staff continue to work in our office, because certain jobs can only be done on-site. To help eliminate even more office traffic we are encouraging our crews who need to access appliance parts to keep a surplus on stock in their vans to further reduce  vehicles and supplies stored at our office for customer and employee safety and security.

As of today (Tuesday, March 24, 2020) we are open our regular business hours 8:30am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and will let you know if that changes.

We also know that, for many customers, this time has meant even more disruption to their jobs, as well as their loved ones’ jobs or school, and we understand if new time frames or rescheduling might need to occur. Know that we are all going through the same thing and that if we can accommodate you in any way during these times, we will do our best to do so as long as it’s not at the risk of lowering our current standards of healthcare or business.

People have always come first at Pro Line Appliance Installation and in these times that is truer than ever.

If you have any questions you would like to ask us or any concerns regarding installation, service, repair or sales, we are more than happy to answer them.
